Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
To use Komfortkasse as a data processor, an agreement for data processing in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is required. Entering into this agreement is a prerequisite for connecting shops.
The agreement is concluded entirely online; a signature is not necessary: Click the “View and Sign Agreement” button to display the contract text. After reading it, check the box to confirm that you have read the agreement and that your privacy policy includes information regarding processing by Komfortkasse— you can find a template for your privacy policy here. Please also note the information regarding the balancing of interests— you can find guidance on how to phrase this here.
After signing, you will receive an e-mail confirming the agreement with the full text of the agreement for your records. You can also download the signed agreement from this page at any time. No document needs to be sent to Komfortkasse.
If Komfortkasse provides a new version of the agreement, signing it again will be required. You’ll be notified of this in the system and via e-mail; until then, the existing agreement will remain available.
