This function can be used to add a new Bank account.
1. Account type
Getting started, you must select whether you want to add an existing bank account (Own bank account) or an Integrated bank account.
Integrated account
2. Currency
In the second step, the desired currency of the account is selected.
3. Country
The desired country in which the account is managed is selected.
4. Confirm
That's it! The account only needs to be confirmed and is available immediately.
Own bank account
2. IBAN and currencies
The second step is to enter the IBAN and currency of the account. (If payments in several currencies are remitted to the same account, the account can be added several times. This special function must be activated by Komfortkasse Support)
3. Connection
The connection to the account is established. Depending on the bank, the connection is redirected to the page of a partner who provides the interface and/or to Internet Banking. Login to Internet Banking and authorization (e.g. via TAN or app) is normally required to establish the connection. More about accessing the Bank account...
4. Account
In some cases, the desired account must be selected again. If the account has been clearly recognized, this step is automatically skipped.
5. Confirm
To add the account, a Direct debit mandate must be granted. This is used to debit the Komfortkasse fees and execute refunds. To do this, enter the name of the authorized signatory. The Direct debit mandate is then sent by e-mail and must be confirmed by clicking on a link. (The Direct debit mandate is granted electronically and does not need to be signed)
Optionally, a Start date can be specified. Komfortkasse will then only retrieve transactions from the account after this date.
