Download the plugin file and unzip the contents into the /ext folder.
The structure under /ext/komfortkasse should now look like this:

Open the following URL in a browser: http://<your-shop>/ext/komfortkasse/install.php
The auto-installer is started. If you only see an empty page, edit the file install.php and remove the comments in lines 13 and 14 so that you can see any Error messages: that may occur.

Once the installer has completed, open your admin panel and navigate to the Komfortkasse settings (or simply follow the link provided by the installer).

Make sure that "Export orders" and "Update orders" are set to "True".

Select the corresponding Payment codes. Only orders with these payment codes will be exported to Komfortkasse. You can enter multiple values separated by commas. Depending on the module you use for bank transfers, this may be "eustandardtransfer" and/or "moneyorder", for example.

Select the relevant statuses for open (unpaid) orders. Only orders with these status codes are exported to Komfortkasse. You can enter several values separated by commas. As a rule, this is 1 ("open").

Select the status that is set for an order when payments are received. This is usually a user-defined status "Payment received" or the default status "In process".
Select the status that is set for an order when the order has been canceled. This is usually a user-defined status, e.g. "canceled".

Do not change the other options ("encryption", "access code", "secret keys"). These values are automatically filled in when you connect your shop to Komfortkasse.
