No custom settings are used by default. In this case, the following note is displayed: "You can customize the design of the e-mails sent to your customers. The default design is currently used." The Customize design button makes the settings visible.
If your own settings are already in use, they can be reset to default with the Reset to default action in the ≡ actions menu.
A preview of each notifications can also be displayed in the ≡ actions menu:
View e-mails action can be used to display a preview of the e-mails as they would be used to the customer. A test e-mail can also be sent.
Test letter creation actions can be used to generate a preview of letters that have been sent. No fees are charged for the preview.
The Customize texts action can be used to customize the text modules for e-mails. More Information...
The preview of e-mails and letters and the customization of texts is possible in all supported languages.
If custom settings are used, either the default setting can be used or a custom setting can be activated for each setting. If the Use defaults checkbox is selected, the default setting is used and the setting can not be changed.
Font
The font used can be specified. The font is specified in the CSS attribute font-family.
Color
The text color and Background color can be changed here.
Salutation
The salutation can be specified for each language. In german, you can choose whether the customer is addressed in the polite form ("per Sie") or in the informal form ("per Du"). In the informal form, a capital "Du" or a lowercase "du" can be specified. If the salutation is "informal", you can also specify whether First and last name or surname only should be used.
Footer
You can specify your own footer (e.g. imprint).
Size QR code / Payment slip
The size of the QR code and the payment slip completion aid in the Payment information can be changed here. (The display can also be completely deactivated in the Extended Settings)
HTML template
As an alternative to the previous settings, you can upload your own HTML template with a completely custom design. To use this option, the standard template must be downloaded. This contains placeholders in the format <!-- mailComponent:xyz -->. The respective content is inserted into the e-mails instead of the placeholders. It must be ensured that all placeholders are present in the template.
Footer, valediction
A separate footer and valediction can be specified for letters. The footer is printed on every page, the valediction at the end of the texts.
If settings have been changed, the result should be tested. A preview of each notifications can be displayed in the ≡ actions menu:
