Diesen Artikel auf Deutsch lesenFor some store systems, Komfortkasse offers the option of "monitoring" other payment codes (other than prepayment, invoice, Cash on delivery) that are not normally taken into account by Komfortkasse. This is possible for all payment codes where posting takes place in real time, e.g. for PayPal and payment by credit card.
For monitored payment codes, the system monitors whether the payment was successful with the selected payment type. If not, the customer is offered to pay by Bank Transfer instead. This is useful if, for example, a PayPal or credit card payment cannot be executed.
How it works
- A customer selects a real-time payment method such as PayPal or credit card for payment.
- The payment cannot be executed or is canceled. This may be due to technical problems or problems with the payment method.
- The order is therefore not set to "paid".
- If the order is not set to "paid" within a selected delay (24 hours by default), Komfortkasse informs the customer of this and sends the customer Payment information. From this timestamp, the order will be managed like an order with prepayment.
Settings
Payment codes for monitoring must be specified in the settings in the Komfortkasse plugin or in the API settings. Using Shopware as an example, these are specified in the Komfortkasse merchant area in the API settings:
For other shop systems, these must be specified in the shop system in the settings of the Komfortkasse plugin. Monitoring is not possible for all shop systems.
The desired delay in hours can also be specified in the settings for prepayment.
E-mail with Payment information
The customer receives a special e-mail with Payment information:
Subject: Payment for your order
Information text: We have not yet received the payment for your order. If the payment with the original payment codes did not work, you can also pay the amount by bank transfer.
(The original payment codes and the usual prepayment information will then be displayed)
