Switching in Two Steps

You can switch from Cleero to Komfortkasse at any time—your customers won’t even notice. To ensure that every posting is assigned to exactly one system, we recommend setting a Value date.

1. Set up Komfortkasse

Register a Komfortkasse account and connect your Shopify store—see Getting started: Setup and Connecting to Your Store and the Shopify Guide. Then connect your Bank account and enter the day after the Value date as the start date: Komfortkasse will then only include postings from that date onward.

2. Deactivate Cleero on the Value date

On the evening of the Value date, deactivate the Bank details in Cleero. Starting the next day, Komfortkasse will assign your postings. You can then uninstall the Cleero app from the Shopify admin.

Open orders

Orders that already exist in the system at the time of connection and are still open will be marked in Komfortkasse with the status “Not managed by Komfortkasse.” By default, no notifications (payment information, payment reminders, pre-collection letters, etc.) are sent to customers for these orders. When a payment is received for such an order, the order is automatically managed in Komfortkasse so that the payment status can be properly transferred to the shop.
If you wish, you can manage these orders in Komfortkasse immediately—either individually in the order detail view or in bulk through our support team.
